He is survived by: his wife Donna Childers; his children, James Leon Hunt (Tina) of Wooster, Florence Louise Aber of North Carolina, Rena Lee Spoonamore (Ron) of Sterling and William Lee Hunt Jr. (Sarah) of Wooster; his siblings, Lovell Hunt of Ripley, WV. and June Ferguson of South Point, OH; and his nephew Donald Wayne Hunt (Tammy). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
