He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clayton and Esther Lance (Anderson); his wife Betty Lou Lance; his sister Lillian; and his brother-in-law Richard Renninger.
He is survived by: his daughters, Phyllis Tedford (Tim) of Corpus Christi, TX, Connie Rohr (Steve) of Massillon, OH and Patricia Ripple (Jim) of Canton, OH; his grandchildren, Dr. Andrea Witwer (Jeff) of Dublin, OH and Matthew Rohr (Kelley) of North Canton; his great grandchildren, Eve Witwer, Lily Witwer and Jonas Rohr; his niece Rochelle Renninger of Sterling; and his nephew Ron Renninger of Sterling.
