He was predeceased by: his wife Joann M. Imhoff; and his siblings, Joseph, Dale Widmer and Margaret Everhard. He is survived by: his children, Cindy Maibach (Roger), Dawn Dotterer (Richard), James Widmer (Karen) and Jon Widmer (Mary); his grandchildren, Scott Maibach (Mandy), Jodi Beer (Marc), Mark Dotterer (April), Michael Dotterer (Gina), Matthew Dotterer (Calla), Jill Christian (Dave), Julie Tucker (Jarin), Jana Yeh (Tim), Jason Widmer (Janelle), Alex Widmer, Katerina Widmer and Ivan Widmer; his siblings, Harold Widmer, Addison Widmer (Georgia) and Jeanie Stoller; and his sister-in-law Marlene Widmer. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Apostolic Christian Church (10699 Steiner Rd, Rittman, OH 44270).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Apostolic Christian Village.
