With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rex Allen Young of Sterling, Ohio, born in Lodi, Ohio, who passed away on September 20, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Nester Sr. Young and Laura Young (Shane); his wife Carol Jane Garrison; his grandchildren, Nick, Brie Fugate (Dalton), Mitchell Knieriem, Haylee (Fugate), Garrett Boley, Lane Knieriem, Jaret Fugate, Wesley Schriber (Darby Minor) and Dylan Young; his great grandchild Colt Boley; his siblings, Joan Shrout of Rittman and Nester (Pam Young); and also, Dawn, Tuffy Schriber of Creston, Amy, Dan Fugate of West Salem, Bradley and Michele Young of Sterling.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ohio's Hospice Life, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.
