He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Ellen Beegle Miatke; his sons, Paul De Jong (Sandy), Timothy De Jong (Lorie), James De Jong (Kyleen) and Mark De Jong (Ruth); his stepchildren, Rhonda Arney (Bruce), Ray Miatke (Asha) and Rex Miatke (Kim); his grandchildren, Daniel De Jong (Heather), Heather Lawrence (Patrick), Nathan De Jong (Joyce), Heidi Gabler (Nathan), Brian De Jong (Stefanie), Sheila Weller (Brian), Philip De Jong (Kami), Njema De Jong, Rehema De Jong, Ngina De Jong, Amber Jacobs (Jesse) and Veronica Reichman (Mike); his stepgrandchildren, Shawn Siciliano, Desiree Remick (Chris), Lela Miatke, Iris Rain Miatke, Baxter Miatke (Devon), Daicey Miatke and Madison Miatke; and his siblings, Marvin De Jong (Gwen) and Naomi Nelson (Dennis).
