He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Bettinger and Mabel Feldner Bettinger; and his siblings, James, Charles, Stanley Bettinger, Barbara Scott and Ramona Bettinger.
He is survived by: his wife Shila Sue Thompson Bettinger; his children, Ashley Bettinger (Lynn) of Tabor Ridge, Todd Bettinger (Lisa) of Tabor Ridge, Sarah Swisher (Jeff) of Tabor Ridge and Stafford; his grandchildren, Guiler Bettinger of Tabor Ridge, Amy McMaster (Caleb) of Searcy and Jacob Swisher; and his sister Laura Bond of Sarahsville.
While there he received a Manufacturing Award in recognition of outstanding personal contribution to the advancement of manufacturing and excellence of achievement.
