She was predeceased by : her parents, Mavis Priddy and Mryl Priddy; her siblings, Earl, Eldon, Carl, Arlos, Ron, David, Noel, Chester, Lester, Mary Downs, Bea Allen and Vasta Pierson; her son Michael Pierson; and her husbands, Robert "Bob" Pierson and Herman "Joe" Layne Jr..
She is survived by : her sons, Terry Pierson (Diann) and Les Pierson (Cindy); her grandchildren, Shawn Pierson (Hazel), Mandi Pierson, Loretha Golden (Tim), Lewella Lomenick (Evan), Josh Pierson (Tonya) and Jesse Pierson; and her great grandchildren, Iris Pierson, Jesse Robert Pierson, Lillian Pierson, Trenton Golden, Landon Golden, Ella Lomenick, Esther Lomenick, Evalyn Lomenick, Sophia Pierson, Robert Pierson and Henry Pierson.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jackson Lytle and Lewis Life Celebration Center (2425 N Limestone St, Springfield, OH 45503). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 25th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Dementia Society in Wanda's honor.
