He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hayslip and Olive Ann Hayslip (Graham); his wife Catherine Hayslip (Brown); and his brother Robert "Butch" Hayslip. He is survived by: his children, Annie Hayslip (Zach Henry), Andy Hayslip (Lisa) and Amber Hayslip (Hope); his grandchildren, Emma, Reed Henry, Drew and Austin Hayslip; his great grandchild Charli Hayslip; and his siblings, Kevin Hayslip (Jenny), Kimberly Hall, Tony Ross (Ashley), Gerald Ross (Robin) and David Ross (Donita). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, in Wally's own words, "Please take your money to your local horse track, grab a beer and bet on the ponies".
