It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vickie Ruth Stickney of Springfield, Ohio, who passed away on October 16, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Shafer and Jessamine Shafer; her in-laws, David T. Stickney and JoAnn Stickney; and her brother-in-law David E. Stickney.
She is survived by: her husband Dean Stickney; her children, Michael Stickney (Katie) and Thomas Stickney (Alexis); her grandchildren, Michael, Maddox, Lennon and Samuel; and her siblings, Jeanine Cline (Paul), Bobby Shafer (Barb) and Joanne Hatten (Dale). She is also survived by niece and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Jones Kenney Zechman Funeral Home (1002 E High St, Springfield, OH 45505). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that you donate to your local SPCA/Animal Shelter, as Vickie loved all animals so deeply.
