In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Udean Susan Smith leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Udean Susan Smith may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Votaw and Alta Votaw (Coulson); her former husband William Hugh Smith, Jr.; and her son Jeffrey Michael Smith. She is survived by: her husband James Babyak; her children, William Eric Smith (Tricia), Curtis Hugh Smith, Sr. (Joanne) and Jennifer Bowen (Kevin); and her brother Ross Cole Votaw. She is also survived by six grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Conroy Funeral Home (1660 E High St, Springfield, OH 45505). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM at the Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church (712 N Fountain Ave, Springfield, OH 45504).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Organ Fund.
