He was predeceased by: his father Fred Oakes; his brother Jim Oakes; and his nephew Joey Jennings. He is survived by: his wife Patti Oakes (Flory); his children, Nikki Smyczek (Jeff), Jessie Florence (Ryan) and Dr. Terry Oakes II (Tom Monto); his grandchildren, Breanna Oakes, Camron Smyczek, Annie Smyczek, Reese Florence, Layne Florence, Rylee Florence and Walker Florence; his mother Janice Sheridan (Jim); his siblings, Gary Oakes (Missy) and Pam Tatone (Bob); and his sister-in-law Kari Oakes. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many friends.
