She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Shirk and Emma Shirk (Ogden); her husband Stanley Thompson; and her grandson Nickolas Thompson. She is survived by: her sons, Jacob Thompson and Craig Thompson (Joanne); and her grandchildren, Starla Pinks, Diana Whilding (Jason), Sarah Zwiesler (Dan), Teresa Thompson, Andrea Holbrook (Chris), Laura Thompson (Josh) and Matthew Thompson (Charleen). She is also survived by family members and close friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial (838 E High St, Springfield, OH 45505). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Rose Hill Burial Park Chapel (4781 S Charleston Clifton Rd, South Charleston, OH 45368).
