She was predeceased by: her parents, Farris Bowman and Mary Bowman (Thomas); her husband John Nixon; and her brother Ron Bowman. She is survived by: her children, David Nixon (Elizabeth) of Brownsville, TN and Cathey Nixon of Springfield; her siblings, Karon Bowman-Miller and Timothy Bowman (Mary); and her close friend Gloria Zumbrum. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jones Kenney Zechman Funeral Home (1002 E High St, Springfield, OH 45505). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at the Vernon Asbury Cemetery (5495 Vernon-Asbury Rd, South Vienna, OH 45369).
