He was predeceased by: his parents, Leamon Turner and Lenora Lucille Turner (Davis). He is survived by: his wife Dawn Turner of Springfield; his daughters, Nayta Turner of Las Vegas and Breonna Turner of Springfield, Ohio; his brother Michael Turner (Vickie) of Cincinnati, Ohio; his aunt Cora Batey of Columbus, Ohio; his niece Cindy Turner of Cincinnati; his nephew Michael Turner II (Ebonique) of Columbus; his stepchildren, Jessica Jones, James Jones Jr. and Stacy Jones; and his brother Richard Freeman II of Springfield.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mount Zion Baptist Church (1171 S Yellow Springs St, Springfield, OH 45506). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church (1171 S Yellow Springs St, Springfield, OH 45506). A burial was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at the Ferncliff Cemetery.
