Rheta Lucille Loy Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rheta Lucille Loy of Springfield, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 21, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Hoffman and Alverna Hoffman; her son James Allen Loy; and her siblings, Roger, Ralph (Barbara), Ruth Thomas, Virgie Clester and Betty Bryant (Bill).
She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" Loy; her children, Brad Loy and Kim Powell (Loy); her grandchildren, Brandi Levi (Jason), Kyle Moorman, Kalan Knapp and Andrew Loy; her great grandchildren, Brittanie, Megan, Levi, Aubrey and Evan; her brother James; her sister-in-law Bonnie Hoffman; and her sister Alice Faye Carrico. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Jackson Lytle Lewis Life Celebration Center (2425 N Limestone St, Springfield, OH 45503).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dayton Children's Hospital in Rheta's honor.
