He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Greene and Helen Payton (Marshall); and his brother Karl Greene. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Patti" Greene; his son Paul E. Greene Jr. (Chasity Mills) of New Carlisle; his siblings, Pamela Perna (Carmine), Peggy Rouse, Beverly Greene, Jody Powell (Andrew) and John Greene (Traci); and his granddaughters, Morgan Wheeler and Kaylah Greene. He is also survived by several other family members and friends.
