He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrle Cooley and Dana Cooley; his daughter Debbie Cooley; his stepfather Malcolm; and his sisters, Margie, Audrey and Susie.
He is survived by: his wife Janice; his children, Kathy Myers (Ted), Michelle Haythe, Sr. (Bryce), Lisa Miller (Ben), Dana Cooley (Melissa) and Mike Cooley; his grandchildren, Jake Myers (Bre), Bryce Haythe, Jr. (Morgan), Kensley Smith, Hudson, Hunter and Blake Miller; his great grandchildren, Landon, Paisley, Baylor Myers and Hunter Haythe; his brother-in-law Jim Huffman (Chrissie); his nephew John Gordon (Paula); and his friends, Mike, Jan Trinkle, Dave, Judy Williams, Terry and Bea Brown. He is also survived by several other nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Littleton & Rue Funeral Home and Crematory (830 N Limestone St, Springfield, OH 45503). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In place of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Children's Miracle Network, an organization that was close to Otis's heart throughout his career at Speedway.
