She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Earl Smith and Merl Louise Harmon (Smith); her son Rodney Sanders; her foster son Chuck Brown; her siblings, Myronna Nagler and Richard Smith; and her friend Margaret Beard.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Sanders (Tammy), Mark Sanders (Beverly) and Cindy Longberry; her grandchildren, Amanda Plantz (Jeremy), Steven Sanders (Tiffany), Marcelline Abbey (Peterson), Jennifer Sanders, Jessica Lawrence (Jonathan), Timothy Sanders, Chasey Grubbs (Bryan Brooks), Michelle Sanders, Christine Longberry, Courtnery Clawson (Drew) and Ryan Sanders; her stepgrandchildren, Danielle Meyers, Christina Gerlough and Dylan Gerlough; her brothers, Robby Smith (Jane) and Rusty Smith; her niece Teresa Detillion; and her friend Jean Kinney. She is also survived by twenty-four great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jones Kenney Zechman Funeral Home (1002 E High St, Springfield, OH 45505). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
