She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John R. Day, Jr. and Betty L. Day (Gassett); her children, Randy, Jodi and Jimmie Self; her grandchildren, Jowyn, Raven, Stacia, Emma and Amani; and her sister Darlene Mays. She was also cherished by many great grandchildren.
