The passing of Lee Rowland of Springfield, Ohio leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 8, 2024 at the age of 86. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Rowland and Cora Rowland (Sexton); his adoptive parents, Bill, Beth Pumphrey, James, Cheryl, Stella Buck and Blaine Rosasco; his siblings, Donald Rowland (JoAnne) and Janice Rowland-Ditmer (Gary); and his brother-in-law Alan Ditmer.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma; his daughters, Tammy Abshear (David) and Barbara Price (Ryan); his grandchildren, Stephen Jones (Adrienne), Christopher Abshear (Katie), Brennan Abshear (Stacy), Amanda Auxier (Nathan), Lauren Calogero-Blanchard (Andrew) and Sarah Abshear-Reed (Jake); his great grandchildren, Alexandria, Oax, Sebastian, Alice, Lilith and Thea; and his sister Sharon Ditmer. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Christian Heritage Church (820 Victory Rd, Springfield, OH 45504). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the South Solon Cemetery.
