With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce A. Smith (Springfield, Ohio), who passed away on October 30, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John E. Smith; her parents, Cy Cottrell and Maudie Cottrell (Miller); her brothers, Leonard Jones, Sam and David Cottrell; and her grandson Michael David Smith.
She is survived by: her children, John G. Smith, Michael D. Smith (Rita) and Debra A. Faulkner; her grandchildren, Brandon, Amber, Jennifer, Bridget, David, Deanna and Chris; her cousin Judy Burton; her sister-in-law Elaine Cottrell; and her nieces and nephews, Rick Jones, David Cottrell and Shirley Paden.
Viewing was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Ingling and Lewis Funeral Home (24 N Chillicothe St, South Charleston, OH 45368). A celebration of life was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Greenlawn Cemetery (10792-10798 S Charleston Pike, South Charleston, OH 45368).
