We are sad to announce that on February 7, 2019, at the age of 83, John Wesley Floyd (Springfield, Ohio), born in Ravenscroft, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley E. Floyd and Rosa Floyd (Kirby); his brother James L. Floyd; his parents-in-law, Samuel R. and Clara E. Eby; and his siblings-in-law, John C. Eby and Naomi M. Lloyd.
He is survived by: his close friend Doris Ann Floyd (Eby); his children, Kenneth E. Floyd (Sharon) of Grand Rapids and Diana L. Scaggs of Springfield; his grandchildren, Joshua L. Wallen (Brandi) of Springfield, Jessica L. Wallen of Springfield, Allison E. Helmick (Taylor) of Canton and Trevor Scaggs of Springfield; his great grandchildren, Tyson, Joshua M. Wallen, Nathan, Natalie Daly, Connor, Ella, Malachi, Emmaline and Camille Helmick; his sister Frieda F. Bowen (Jim) of Springfield; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Floyd, Roberta Eby of Springfield and Stacy S. Lloyd of Clearwater, Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Southgate Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
