We are sad to announce that on February 19, 2025, at the age of 96, John W. Howell Jr. (Springfield, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As John departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved John. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Howell and Mary Howell (Ninde); his sisters, Marcia Howell and Carolyn Thompson (Howell); and his wife Peggy (Kendall).
He is survived by: his daughters, Lynise Rollins (Mike) and Julie Richardson (Randal); and his cousin Julia Cady (Howell). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations in John's memory may be made to Crossroads Hospice.
