It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Lauer of Springfield, Ohio, who passed away on January 31, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" Lauer and Aloysia Lauer (Niehoff); his wife Barbara; his sister Kathleen Walter; and his brother-in-law Larry Walter.
He is survived by: his brother Glenn Lauer (Theresa); and his siblings-in-law, Charles Ashy and Mimi Ashy. He is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews, 10 nephews and 15 nieces.
A Mass was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Bernard Catholic Church (910 Lagonda Ave, Springfield, OH 45503).
