He is survived by: his wife Beverly Dean (Clevenger); his grandchildren, Raj Dean, Meera Dean, Jules Dean, Morgan Haas, Sydney Haas, Scotty Blackburn (Kaelyn), Audri Holt (Luke), Saraia Blackburn and James Blackburn; and his siblings, Patricia Beck, Robert Dean (Judy), Diana Campbell, Beverly Knight (Gary) and Melissa Hemming. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
