He was predeceased by: his parents, James M. Newell and Sonja K. Newell (Reed); and his brother Anthony Newell. He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Newell; and his sister Cindy Dickens (Chris). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
