Jack D. Pelphrey Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jack D. Pelphrey of Springfield, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 21, 2025 at the age of 96. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jack D. Pelphrey to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Pelphrey and Lavada Pelphrey (Reed); his former wife G. Evelyn Pelphrey; his wife Evelyn Jean Pelphrey; his siblings, Carroll, Joe, Donald Ray, Leroy Pelphrey and Naomi Conley; and his grandson Travis Hoffman.
He is survived by: his sister Mary Alice Johnson; his children, Danny (Karen), David (Judy), Gary Pelphrey (Ruth) and Karen L. Gill; his stepchildren, Cheryl Warner (Garry) and Leon Myers (Robin); and his grandchildren, Roger, Brian, Ryan, Stephen, Chris, Phil Pelphrey, Andy Myers, Kristina Relph, Kandace Gill and Alyson Myers. He is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial (838 E High St, Springfield, OH 45505). A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Forest Valley Free Will Baptist Church (1821 Troy Rd, Springfield, OH 45504).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Forest Valley Free Will Baptist Church.
