It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen F. Beatty (Springfield, Ohio), who passed away on October 22, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen F. Beatty to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Smith and George Smith; her significant other Ed Barrett; her children, Lloyd Carden and Rita Carden; and her siblings, Lelia Hebebrand, Marie Billet, Ann Everhart and Elwood Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Carden, Janetta Showalter (Todd) and Alden Beatty (Pam); her grandchildren, Frank Kitt Jr. (Tiffany), Erin Beatty, Jessica Beatty and Taylor Burrowes; and her sisters, Nellie McDonald and Dona Stant. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Jackson Lytle and Lewis Life Celebration Center (2425 N Limestone St, Springfield, OH 45503). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 2:15 PM at the Vale Cemetery (4340 Grange Hall Rd, Springfield, OH 45504).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Helen's honor.
