She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Smith and George Smith; her significant other Ed Barrett; her children, Lloyd Carden and Rita Carden; and her siblings, Lelia Hebebrand, Marie Billet, Ann Everhart and Elwood Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Carden, Janetta Showalter (Todd) and Alden Beatty (Pam); her grandchildren, Frank Kitt Jr. (Tiffany), Erin Beatty, Jessica Beatty and Taylor Burrowes; and her sisters, Nellie McDonald and Dona Stant. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Helen's honor.
