He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Arthur and Sudie Bays Arthur; his wife Patricia Hart Arthur; his siblings, Howard Arthur, Vernon Arthur, Patti Thomas, Janice Brown and Hellen Duncan; and his siblings-in-law, William Duncan, Harvey Brown, Robert Thomas, Elsie Arthur, Marge Arthur and Crystal Allen.
He is survived by: his sons, Tom (Evelyn) and Howard (Suzanne); his grandchildren, Jessica (Rodney), Jacob (Beth), Kathleen (Zach) and Lillian (Zach); his great grandchildren, Eleanor, Edward, Ernest and Wylie; his stepgrandchildren, Matthew (Kassidy), Brittany (Jess) and Lauren (Luke); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Maylee, Jonah, Landon, Philip, Charles and Theo; his siblings-in-law, Candace Simmons and John Allen; and his caregiver Shirley Mullikin.
