We bid farewell to Gustel Witten of Springfield, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 4, 2024 at the age of 93. Gustel touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Witten and Anna Witten (Van Hoose); his wife Mary Margaret Witten; and his siblings, Harkless Witten (Nettie) of Limerick, Edgar Witten (Edna) of Springfield, Ohio and Freda Rice.
He is survived by: his son Terry Witten of Springfield, Ohio; his niece Juanita Hayes of Hilliard, Ohio; his great-niece Krista Couser (Matthew); his close friends, Greg Kooyman, Glen Grim and Kerry Londergan; and also, Logan of St. Paris and Raegan Couser of St. Paris.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Springfield Enterprise Baptist Church (3501 S Urbana Lisbon Rd, South Charleston, OH 45368). A masonic service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 12:45 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
