It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertrude Patton of Springfield, Ohio, who passed away on May 20, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Sr. Egler and Grace Egler (Dixson); her husband Floyd Patton Sr.; her daughter Frances Corbett; her son-in-law Dale Corbett; and her sister Elizabeth 'Libby" Hardnick (Walter "Virgil" Elger Jr.).
She is survived by: her sons, Floyd Patton Jr., Howard Patton (Betty), Robert Patton and Herbert Patton (Marla); her grandchildren, Leroy Hill, Rose Patton, Michael Hill, Frances Grigsby, Brandy Wright and April Crowley; her great grandchildren, Yolanda Hill, Angela Patton, Shay Coomer (Chase), Kaya Grigsby, Emanee Wright, Alex Crowley and Destinee Henderson; her great great grandchildren, Greyson Hill, Eden and Corie; her nieces, Dorris Daniel, Grace Daniel and Phyliss Mitchell; her great-nieces, Tammy Daniel and Stacy Whitaker (Geneo); her daughter Evelyn Baisden; and also, Nia Daniel, Gianna Whitaker, Jaxon Whitaker and Geneo Whitaker Jr..
