With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Michael Benton of Springfield, Ohio, who passed away on February 26, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George L. Benton and Virginia Benton; and his sister Dawn Denise Mitchem. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Benton; his son Michael; his daughter-in-law Tabitha Benton of Springfield, Ohio; his daughter Angela; his son-in-law Mike Smith of Kenosha, Wisconsin; his great grandchildren, Kyle Bennett (Athena), Rob Taylor (Jas), Emily Robinson (Bryan), Kiersten Benton, Joshua Taylor (Jenna) and Kristopher M. Benton; and his sisters, Barbara Courtney and Wanda Keeton.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Jones Kenney Zechman Funeral Home (1002 E High St, Springfield, OH 45505).
