We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2021, at the age of 84, Gary Wade of Springfield, Ohio, born in Ironton, Ohio passed away. He was predeceased by: his parents, Waldo Wade and Clarabel Wade (Addis); his wife Dottie; and his children, Dianne and Gary "Jay" Wade.

He is survived by: his children, Buck Wade, Lori Shumaker, Wendee Smith (Brian), Keri Smith (Bruce) and Andy Wade (Courtney); his brother Rick; and his sister-in-law Marcia Wade. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

“Dear Wade family, Gary Wade was my best friend, mentor and role model for over 40 years. He lived his faith and loved his family. We last spoke by phone May 5, 2021. He talked about still missing Dottie so terribly, but enjoying his growing family. Gary can now be with his Maker, Dottie, Diane and Jay.
