He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Dixon and Federica Dixon (White); his wife Sandra; his brother Gene Dixon; his nephew Danny Dixon; and his sister-in-law Gertie Dixon.
He is survived by: his daughter Pam Dixon (Bill Parker); his grandson LCpl Noah Wooten; his siblings, Dale Dixon (Beverly), Linda Cook and Cheryl Buck (Terry); his sisters-in-law, Louise Taylor, Waleka Hetico (Tim) and Billie Blazer (Joe); and his friends, Terry and Sharon Nykoluk. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Conroy Funeral Home (1660 E High St, Springfield, OH 45505). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in Gary's name to the Animal Welfare League of Clark County or The U.S.S. Frank E. Evans Association, 2286 Morgan Rd., Carlsbad, CA 92008.
