He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Botkin and Betty Botkin (Wallace); his brothers, John and Dean Botkin; his brothers-in-law, Bill Wiriam and Randy Hall; his sisters, Paula Hall (Botkin) and Barb Wiriam (Botkin); and his nephew Dean Botkin Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Botkin (Heath); his children, Rachele Barlow (Jason), Traci McFann (Mike), Mark Patterson II (Jenni) and Melinda Dooley (Kevin); his grandchildren, Nicci Clarkson (Matt), Logan Barclay (Hunter), Brody McFann, Olivia, Lacie, Harmony Barlow, Katie and Elizabeth Patterson; his great grandchildren, Deacon, Garrett Clarkson, Payton and Hannah Barclay; his siblings, Gay Botkin, Chuck Botkin (Mary Lou), Ed Botkin (Sharon) and Herb Botkin (Debi); and his brothers-in-law, Ed and Kenneth Heath.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial (838 E High St, Springfield, OH 45505).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Oscar Mike Foundation or a non-profit charity that provides financial support to injured Veterans looking for an opportunity to stay active.
