Bruce Elmer McConkey Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bruce Elmer McConkey of Springfield, Ohio, who passed away on July 11, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd McConkey and Virginia McConkey (Schaub); and his former wife Trudi. He is survived by: his wife Marie; his daughters, Jennifer, Rachal (Teagan) and Rebecca (Stephen); his stepsons, Gregory (Autumn) and Jeremy (Sarah); his grandson Samuel; and his siblings, Charlie McConkey (Bonnie), Marlene Elwood (Greg) and Rita Storie (Richard). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Clark Soil & Water Conservation District in Bruce's name (3130 E. Main St. Springfield, OH 45503) to plant trees in his honor.
