He was predeceased by: his parents, William Homer and Sadie Adkins (Stephens); his wife Linda D. Adkins; and his siblings, Dennis Adkins, Edgar Adkins, Wendell Adkins, Norma Plymale and Linda Adkins.
He is survived by: his children, TaBetha Biggs (Steve), Charlene Adkins, Treva Shumaker, Nathan Adkins and Dana Adkins (Matt); and his siblings, Patricia Adkins and Joseph Adkins. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
