He was predeceased by: his son Anthony Porter, Jr.; his father Louis Copeland, Sr.; and his adoptive parents, Henry Johnson and Mary Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Vanessa E. Porter; his daughter Cashondia Williams (Tony) of Jacksonville, Florida; his stepchildren, Nichole Crowe of Springfield, Ohio, Mark Crowe of Springfield, Anthony Crowe of Columbus and Johnny Martin of Tallahassee, Florida; his mother Ruby Lee Walthour; and his niece Christine Davis. He is also survived by two sisters-in-law, four brothers-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Restored Life Ministries (1117 Innisfallen Ave, Springfield, OH 45506). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Ferncliff Cemetery (501 W McCreight Ave, Springfield, OH 45504).
