He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Bales and Gladys Jenks Bales; and his sister Rita Joan Luttrell. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Bales (Sweeney); his children, Amy Thompson Centerville (Jeff) and Ryan Bales Springboro (Sarah); his grandchildren, Megan, Nolan Thompson, Ross, Benjamin and Jacob Bales; his brother-in-law Don Luttrell; his niece Becky Tittle; and his nephew Sam Luttrell. He is also survived by close friends and relatives.
