He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurman Barnett and Sarah Snowden (Hudson); his children, Brooke Lorin Barnett, John Gabriel Barnett and Sarah Bethany Barnett; his siblings, Arkie Linda Aiken and Leonard Ashley, Jr.; his father-in-law Lester Stevens; and his pet Angel.
He is survived by: his wife Vicki Barnett (Stevens); his son Brandon Barnett; his grandchildren, Gabbriella Barnett, Olivia Barnett and Oliver Barnett; his siblings, Ama Adams, Grace Humphrey, Judy Leonard and Travis Ashley (Brenda); his mother-in-law Olive Geneva Stevens; his brothers-in-law, Kenneth Stevens, Sammie Keith Stevens and Kevin Stevens; his son Tony Ashley; and his pets, Star and Michael "Mikey". He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
