He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Edgar and Anna Elizabeth Sorrell (Cecil); and his siblings, Amy Marie Lawson, Norma Jean Sorrell, Rita Helton, Herschel, Earl, Carl and Winford Sorrell.

He is survived by: his children, Kevin Sorrell (Shirley), Kent Sorrell (Terrie), Kirk Sorrell and Karen Hayes; his grandchildren, Clint Sorrell (Tonya), Crystal Adams (Robert), Heather Lamb (Dustin), Travis Hayes, Bradley Hayes, Kirk Sorrell, Andrea Sorrell and Devin Sorrell; his great grandchildren, Brianna, Harlee and Paislee; his great great grandchild Greysen Leeth; and his sisters, Ruby Patrick, Jaunita Howard, Shirley Roberts and Ruth Ann Lovelace. He is also survived by many other great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home (210 S Main St, Middletown, OH 45044). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
