Though Bernice may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Bernice touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wendell Cowan and Marvel Cowan; her brother James Cowan; and her son-in-law Bart Frye. She is survived by: her brother Raymond Cowan; her daughters, Lynn Frye, Lesley Walton (Dale) and Michelle Smith (Matt); and her grandchildren, Nick Frye, Zach Walton (Marie) and Evan Walton.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of donations to the hospice organization of your choice.
