He was predeceased by: his father James Stroup; and his mother-in-law Georgia Blythe (Gaffin). He is survived by: his mother Wilma Stroup (Boerner); his wife Debby Stroup (Blythe); his sons, Zachery (Amanda) and Cory Stroup (Malissa); his grandchildren, Abigail, Ava, Olivia and Aiden Stroup; his father-in-law Lawrence Blythe; his sisters, Jenifer Lansing (Travis) and Shery Baker (Billy); his sister-in-law Rita Glaser (Robert); his nieces, Jennifer Vandergriff (Brian), Jessica Orner (Dustin), Julie Lehman (Marcus) and Alysa Snell (Dagny Barga); and his nephew Tahner Snell (Kaili Deck). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces, great nephews, and many close friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Sam's name to a charity of your choosing.
