He was predeceased by: his father Donald Gene. He is survived by: his siblings, Mark Simpkins (Denise) of Spencerville, Rick Simpkins (Sindy) of Elida and Barb Simpkins of Gomer; his nieces and nephews, Kevin, Matt, Tori, Jon and Trisha; and his close friend Nick.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the family to help with expenses or to St. Matthew Lutheran Church.
