She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred H. Lutterbeck and Magdalena S. Kipp Lutterbeck; her spouse J. Frederick Burnfield; her sons-in-law, Hubert "Herb" Warnecke and Stanley Workman; her grandchildren, Cynthia Warnecke and James Burnfield; and her siblings, Mary Katterheinrich (Alfred), Esther Lutterbeck, Lester Lutterbeck (Lucille) and Robert Lutterbeck.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Warnecke of Spencerville, Karen Workman of Van Wert and Roger Burnfield of Van Wert; her grandchildren, Kevin Warnecke (Janet) of Spencerville, Vicki Stevens (Edward) of Van Wert, Melissa Mace of Chicago and Annette Parr (Charles); her great grandchildren, Amanda Willis (Bobby) of Columbus, Kelee Warnecke of Spencerville, Kaytlynn Warnecke of Spencerville, Adam Stevens (Taylor) of Troy, Nathan Stevens of Van Wert, Luke Stevens of Chicago, Brooklyn Mace of Ft. Wayne, Brandilynn Mace of Chicago, Tyler Burnfield (Katlyn) of Colorado and Christopher Adams; her great great grandchildren, Elijah Bruce Clayton, Kenzley Sophia Stevens and Grace Olivia Willis; and her sisters, Eunice Ireton of St. Marys and Ruby Kreher (Paul) of Cridersville.
Ruth lived an astonishing 100 years which began with the Spanish Flu Pandemic and concluded during the current Covid-19 Pandemic, yet she eluded both of them.
