He was predeceased by: his parents, Gail Scranton and Edna Violet Burke Shark; his stepfather Clarence Miller; and his sisters, Lucile Miller (Walter Eugene) and Alice Shark.
He is survived by: his spouse Armeda May Butler; and his children, Teresa Bienz (John) of Mendon, Steven Lee Shark (Dana) of Wapakoneta, Sherry Burgei (Robb) of Delphos and Sheila Kay Guffey (Scott) of Wapakoneta.
