He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell B. Rahrig and Alice Rahrig (Brinkman); his stepfather Arthur Gribler; his wife Juanita Mae Sakemiller; his siblings, Richard L. Rahrig (Joanne) and Ellen E. "Susie" Dickman; his stepbrother Gary Gribler; and also, Jeff Rahrig (Cathy) and Bob Rahrig.
He is survived by: his children, Roger Rahrig (Mary) of Spencerville, Pam Shook (Ron) of Spencerville, Mike Rahrig (Sam) of Spencerville and Rodney Rahrig (Norma) of Spencerville; and his stepbrother Dan Gribler (Edy) of Georgia. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; four great great grandchild.
In memory of Robert, memorials may be given to St. Rita's Hospice.
