He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Harter; his grandparents, Sadie Mulholland, Ted and Evelyn Harter; his granddaughter Hailey Harter; his aunts and uncles, Charley, Sylvia Harter, Dixie and Jim Bennet; and his daughter-in-law Ashley Harter (Parsons).
He is survived by: his father Richard Harter (Dick); his brother Bob; his sister-in-law Anne Harter; his children, Shawn Harter (Davina), Shannon Harter, Shane Harter (Kelly), Shelley Hartley (Mike) and Shay Harter (Abbey); his grandchildren, Tayler Price (Jesse), Zakkary, Anikyn, Abel Harter, Jacob, Eli, Kyra Harter, Zoe, Zane, Zaria, Zaiti Harter, Lyric, Mason Hartley, Jace, Trace and Avery Harter; and his great grandchild Axl Brayton.
