He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Strayer and Germaine Elizabeth Suever Strayer; his sister Mary Baxter (Bill); and his brother-in-law David Miller. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Sondra Ann McDaniel; his nieces and nephews, Randy S. Strayer (LuAnn) of Spencerville, Toby L. Strayer (Mary) of Spencerville and Paula J. Martz (Mickey) of Lima; his grandchildren, Rodney Strayer (Juli) of Loveland, Ryan Strayer of Spencerville, Renee Shartzer of Spencerville, Stephanie Henschen (Jim) of Spencerville, Ashley Fledderjohann (Ben) of Spencerville, Zach Strayer (Morgan) of Spencerville, Brittany Brenneman (Brad) of Delphos and Kip Martz (Jaclyn) of Findlay; his sisters, Jane Youngpeter (Eugene) of Spencerville, Jean Miller of Ada, Shirley Strayer of Lima and Joyce Brenneman (Ronald) of Delphos; and also, Gary McDaniel and Marti McDaniel.
