With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norma Leis of Spencerville, Ohio, born in Fort Jennings, Ohio, who passed away on January 17, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Henry and Marie Hoersten Ellerbrock; her husband Bernard L. Leis; her siblings, Margaret Suever (Ralph), Armella Ellerbrock and Ruth Betts (Carl); and her brothers-in-law, Robert, James Leis and Tom Winters.
She is survived by: her children, Larry J. Leis (Ann) of Delphos, Teresa S. "Terri" Klaus (Kevin E.) of Delphos, Gene H. Leis (Liz) of Cridersville and Richard A. Leis (Angie) of Celina; her siblings-in-law, Jan Leis of Spencerville and Dolores Winters of Marysville; and her close friend Bob "Pooch" Louth. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 14 great grand and 2 great great grandchildren.
The family requests that memorials be made to All Star Pet Rescue, Deb's Dogs or to the Allen County Humane Society, all of Lima.
